And so we are five days away from Superbowl XLV on BBC Two. If you cannot make it to H’s on Sunday for the big game but still want to have a wager or two, we will be playing the usual games at the traditional price of £1 per game. Remember all money is split equally between the games winners as the BUMS is a non-profit making organisation and gambling is the work of the devil. Attached is the price of the Superbowl players so you can enter your team (usual rules 1 x QB, 1 x K, 4 x Outfield Players for a maximum of $7.5m). The other games are First Player to Score (QB only if he runs it in), Half-time score, Full-time score and leader by Quarter eg Steelers,Tie,Packers,Packers. (STPP). All-BUMS Voting Thanks to those who have already voted for their favourite players of 2010. If you have not voted yet remember I need (in order) your top 3 Running Backs and top 3 Receivers plus your number 1 & 2 Quarterbacks, Kickers and Coaches. Vote for your players based on BUMS points, how much you enjoy them, what they meant to their BUMS roster/NFL team or just the fact they were on your roster. BUMSBowl XV As mentioned last week Johnnie is looking to do the double double by retaining the BUMSBowl after winning back to back Papas Fritas Championships. The runner-up in the last two league titles – Chief will try and stop him. What makes you think this game is going to be personal? Despite being the top two All-Time Leading Points Scorers they have only ever met twice before, Chief winning both (1998 Divisional round and 2008 Championship round). In postseason play Chief is 30-11, Johnnie 20-13 and in BUMSBowls Chief is 3-1 while Johnnie won last year in his only appearance, So let battle commence , Johnnie & Chief need to get their teams in by 6pm Sunday February 7th BUMS on Superbowl Seats Superbowl XLIV is on Sunday February 7th on BBC One with kick-off around 11.20pm & H will be cooking a USA feast, for 10.55pm when Ron and Craig will put the BBC coverage on air. It will be an unbiased meal of Packers Cheese(head) Burgers served with Pittsburgh Heinz (Field) Ketchup. Please let me know by Thursday 11pm if you intend to come to H’s so we can plan the shopping list and seating plan.
